List of Grants for Free Boiler Replacements:
1- BUS (Boiler Upgrade Scheme) – England and Wales
This scheme is open to domestic and non-domestic properties in England and Wales. You can get up to £6,000 in this scheme to cover the costs of installation of a low carbon heating system. This scheme is limited to 1 grant per property, so if you own more than 1 property, you can apply separately for each of them.

2- Boiler Replacement Scheme – Northern Ireland
This scheme is open to NI owner-occupiers and helps citizens improve their energy efficiency. To be eligible, your household income must be lower than £40,000 and your current boiler must be older than 15 years. This grant will cover the costs for:
- Replacing inefficient and old boilers
- Switching to gas boilers
- Switching to wood pellet boilers

3- Warmer Homes – Scotland
This scheme is offered by the Scottish government and covers all the costs of insulation and assessment for a new heating system. To begin the process, you need to call Home Energy Scotland using the number provided below. Assessors will visit your property first and will then decide on suitable improvements for your heating system. In most cases, all of the costs will be handled by the government.
